Scan Parts supplies refurbished and used engines for trucks and buses.
Refurbished engines are mostly delivered on what is called an "exchange basis".
This includes us delivering a fully refurbished engine with a 12 month warranty
and at the same time charging a deposit until the old engine is returned to us.
Once our factory has assessed whether the old part is capable of being refurbished with resale in mind,
the deposit will be credited.
In cases where it is known that the old part is damaged and for scrap, a delivery is agreed on a direct sales basis.
Used engines come from wreckers around Europe,
often traffic-damaged vehicles, but all engines have been on the test bench and are approved before delivery. A replacement guarantee of 3 months is normally given.
In the case of enquiries, it is important to provide all the information mentioned on the nameplate of the engine, as well as whether you want an offer for a complete engine or just a short block, etc.
